Payroll giving allows you to donate directly from your salary before it is taxed. So if you decide to give Deafblind Scotland a monthly gift of £10, you need only pay £7.80 (tax rate of 22%) – the Government adds the rest.
Deciding to give through your salary helps Deafblind Scotland to address both the future and immediate needs of our members. If your employer already has a payroll giving scheme in place, simply fill out a Payroll Giving donor form and give this to your Payroll Department. You can change your chosen charity, the amount you donate or cancel your donation at any time. If not, contact speak to your employer and tell them about the bonuses of setting up a scheme (see Corporate Support option).
